Despite what you may think, there are guidelines to writing a great groom wedding speech, including making sure that everyone is included in your salutations. The real target of the groom wedding speech is the rest of the wedding party, so be sure to placate them!

Show Your Gratitude to The Right People

You should thank everyone who has influenced your life to that point that helped you get to your wedding day. I paid close attention to making sure that I thanked my bride, best man, and anyone else who gave me advice. Be sure not to leave out the father of the groom in the wedding speech. You should give them special thanks because they will usually have something good to say about you. Before you get too far into the speech you want to say thank you to him.

Your family is an important part of your life, and should be included

No matter how many times I tell the story of how we met, the groom wedding speech just wasn't complete without it, so it was included. Everyone loves hearing that story, and it gives a great sense of closure to the relationship in general, especially for the people in the wedding party.

Be sure to include funny things or great things your family has done with you. Make sure you let the people in your life know how much they mean to you, and the importance they have in your life. Regardless of their role in the wedding, they were important to your entire life in general, so be sure to thank them.

Although your wedding day is meant to show your unconditional love to your new wife, it is also about sharing the occasion with your friends and family. Although a speech as big as your groom wedding speech can be very scary, if you put some careful thought and consideration into it you can make sure everyone feels loved and appreciated.
